As we say goodbye to our Director Mark Wood for our 15th anniversary, we welcome our new Director Paul Finch! Thank you to our CEO Daniel Eichert for presenting us with this beautiful plaque!

Mark has been a pleasure to work with, and in only 3 short years at eltherm UK he has turned us into a brilliant success story! Mark has decided to retire and go travelling for 6 months, leaving eltherm UK in excellent shape for Paul.

We wish him all the luck and a happy, well deserved retirement! (We'll miss you!)

Mark worked hard to find a successor that was perfectly suited to replace him, and we know he has left us in the best of hands!

Ice-free through the winter ❄

During heavy snowfall and prolonged cold spells, gutters and downpipes can be severely damaged by freezing water. When the sun then comes out, meltwater forms and immediately freezes again, resulting in dangerous icicles. These can not only damage the material, but also pose a serious danger to passers-by and vehicles.

You can counteract this risk by installing electric heating cables. Heated gutters not only prevent icicles from falling, but also smaller roof avalanches. At a maximum temperature of 65 °C, there is no risk to plastic pipes, gutters, and conduits.

This keeps your gutters reliably free of snow and ice, even at sub-zero temperatures. 🌡

Why do pumps and valves need to be heated? 🏭🛠️⚠️

In many industrial plants in the chemical, food and energy sectors, pumps and valves must function reliably. However, they are the most sensitive components in a system: if they block or freeze, the entire system comes to a standstill! The use of electrical heat tracing prevents unplanned downtimes and increases operational reliability.

Maintenance, repairs and production downtime are expensive. That's why a well-planned electrical heat tracing system is an investment that pays for itself in the long term through higher availability and lower maintenance costs. The electrical heat tracing system prevents the viscosity of liquids from changing at low temperatures or even freezing, causing pumps and drain valves to clog.
