1st and 2nd fixed this garage conversion this week, I really enjoyed this little project!
Its going to be an art studio/gym so the client wanted it nice and bright so I of course used Collingwoodled downlights but used their H4 Pros for a change. These are colour temperature and lumen switchable, they can tilt and have replaceable bezels so tick every box!
All faceplates are my go to Scolmore Click range apart from the grid switch as I needed to put in a Quinetic switch module for the outside wall lights. For the 1st time I used the Quinetic PIR which is a wireless PIR and when paired with a dual switch receiver can be set up to work as a normal PIR or can be overridden so the lights stay on with a switch all completely wireless!

Client sent me some pictures of the Collingwood 10w floodlights I installed recently in action. The client is really pleased with the outcome and I agree, I think they look great!

As I do with all my jobs I try to use the best products available to me so using the Collingwood floodlights were a no brainer and the fact they are colour switchable makes it even better giving options to the client if they change their mind. For my piece of mind and reliability for the client I used Wiska 308 boxes and the earth bars with Swa storm glands. I used Wago's to connect everything up and then all filled with Wiska magic gel to keep everything free from moisture. An added bonus that everything comes in black and gave the boxes a nice smart appearance and also nice and discreet when they are hidden under the bushes.

Fitted these 5 extra Scolemore Click double sockets including 3 of their USB units by extending the ring from a high level socket previously used for a a TV. This was a bit of a last minute job as I originally turned up to add a 13a switch fused spur next to the existing socket and surface mount 2 extra sockets with a bit of trunking for the cable. But things had changed since coming to quote and I always try to be as accommodating as possible, so a quick trip to the wholesalers and popping home to grab my wall chaser I set about getting this all in for the client. Client was extremely pleased with how neat the finish was and was able to carrying on with the redecorating as planned.

Congratulations to our 1st prize winner Julia who was very happy to receive her Collingwood smart hub, dimmable bridge and 10 downlights along with the mugs and pens that Collingwood very kindly sent out.
