3 Dissertation life hacks on Microsoft Word:

Use find (ctrl +F/Cmd+F) to help you.. :
Check your citations (search for "(" "19" "20" to find text citations).

Use 'find and replace' to help you hunt for:
Rogue double spaces
Uncapitalised acronyms
Double word placements

Use the A-Z Function to arrange your references list in alphabetical order: This takes 5 minutes as opposed to one hour to do it manually!

Ideas are your only currency, if you think about it.

The Keele Business Society will be working with business' inside and outside of the University.

If you have a business or want to start one; The business society will help you concept, market, sell and apply for funding.

There's a mis-understanding when it comes to job security.
"you must NOT pursue your passion, if you want job security", is essentially what I hear when I ask students.

What they're actually saying is:
"I don't have time to explore that"
"I dont know where to start"
"No one is interested in my idea"
"I don't have money to do it"
"I want a job first"

You can see that it's always a negative response when asked; "What are you passionate about and have you thought about starting your own business?"

However, when you persue what you're passionate about - you'll start to see life from a different perspective.

If you've recently realised there's never a 'right time' to explore alternative ways of living, Join the business society and let's do something we love, not something we think we need.
