Today I have wool simmering away in an Iron mordant. I set the Iron mordant last summer and I m excited to see the results when the dyeing process is complete 😊

I have had the dye pot on again😊 This time I ve been dabbling with Indigo Carmine, Saxon Blue, which was used from 18th century onwards. I have 100g of each skein, which is an Aran weight,100% wool yarn. The darker blue is a solid colour and the lighter skein is variegated with Weld. I can dye to order and have a variety of hand dyed yarn on sale in my shop.

This yarn is 100% wool Super Wash hand dyed in a Blueberry dye bath.
It can be machine washed as it will not felt.
