Generator Generator is the North’s leading music development organisation. Since 1991, we’ve been breaking barriers, building careers, and pushing boundaries.

Each programme we run is designed with the individual, and the changing sector needs, in mind. From our music development programme to Generator Union, a collective of cultural & creative professionals, our dedicated team strive to bring you the most value and relevant support possible. From masterclasses to songwriting residencies, morning networking sessions for the creative sector, or even our annual emerging music festival, there’s something to suit every individual. It is through this tailored support that we seek to create and sustain a thriving creative and cultural industry here in the North East.
