A timeless new look for The Village Café in Whitburn.

We produced and installed brushed gold lettering across the freshly painted pale grey fascia, creating an elegant finish that complements the character of this beautiful traditional shopfront.

A simple combination of colour and materials, but one that gives the café a distinctive new identity with plenty of warmth.

An updated look for Redheads Mac ’N’ Cheese at Manor Walks

We recently returned to the container unit to complete a few branding updates, including a bold new sign overlay across the top and a fully updated menu panel showcasing their latest mac ’n’ cheese dishes, burgers, chicken, loaded fries and combo meals.

The bright yellow and orange graphics really stand out against the black container, helping the unit catch attention while keeping everything consistent with the recognisable Redheads brand.

A great example of how updating a few key signs can refresh an existing premises without replacing everything.

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn a skilled, creative trade with a family business that has been making signs in Newcastle for over 65 years.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in vehicle graphics, large-format printing, vinyl application, sign production and installation while working towards a recognised Level 3 qualification.

We’re looking for someone practical, enthusiastic and keen to learn. No previous sign-making experience is needed.

We were delighted to produce and install these vibrant window graphics and promotional banners for St Oswald’s Hospice, helping promote the Tales on the Tyne Peter Rabbit™ Art Trail.

From full-height window graphics at the Gosforth hospice shop to Trail HQ branding and large-format banners, every element captures the fun and adventure of Peter Rabbit while also welcoming visitors and encouraging families to discover the trail while supporting an incredible local charity.

Not every success story ends with someone staying forever.

Yesterday we said goodbye to our apprentice Matty as he moves on to an exciting new role with the Environment Agency.

Watching someone grow in confidence, develop new skills and take the next step in their career is exactly what an apprenticeship is all about. While we’ll miss having them as part of the Hooper Signs team, we’re proud to have played a small part in his journey.

We wish him every success in his new role and thank him for all the hard work over the past 14 months.

At Hooper Signs we believe in passing on traditional signmaking skills alongside modern production techniques, and helping the next generation build rewarding careers.
