The Architectural profession is undergoing a lot of changes globally and it's reflected in the new UIA Bureau and Council. The election of Architect Regina Gonthier, someone who we believe will step into UIA outgoing President José Luis Cortés’s shoes running, will lift the relevance of the profession to new heights. The fact that changes that the profession is facing through the advent of AI, innovative technologies and unknown threats from those that don't understand that ours is not a job but what we become when we imbibe the profession, we pledge to work with the new team to make their work easier through our dedication and sacrifices. Congratulations to all the elected members and we look forward to working with you.

The UIA General Assembly, taking place from 6-9 July following the Copenhagen Congress, elected the leadership for the 2023-2026 mandate.
