So this house has been pebbledashed over distemper, distemper is a mixture of paint and cement painted over a surface creating a sealed surface to stop damp of old. Render has been removed from front and now returned to a nice brick finish, the side and rear to do now. This is a massive transformation for the new owners.

Very gentle blast cleaning to remove black paint from these wooden beams, notice how little to no damage to the plaster after our process, nothing more annoying than using a template and leaving a 1-2mm of black paint on beams, we don’t do that.

It’s been slow and gentle to remove this coating over this stone built stately hall, but we are just working our way through it, still a vast area to do.
