Working on current and new housing contracts in the north east the applicant must have a current CSCS card, own tools and transport.

We currently have 60% of our clients sites open with the remainder opening in the next week or two. We have 50% of the staff back from furlough and the office is open as usual if anyone needs to get in touch. Let’s keep our 🤞 that this thing doesn’t increase again as lockdown is relaxed and let’s hope all the new site measures and working methods can keep us all working safely going forward.

Below is the official government guidance regarding businesses that are required to close following last nights statement by Boris. Although there is no specific mention of Construction we have been advised that some sites will not be open from Tuesday March 24th.

We are asking all employees to remain off work on Tuesday 24th March so we can use the day to get some clarity on the situation and determine if any of our clients will close sites and if any will remain open.

We will update you on the situation during the day when we receive further information.

We are hearing lots of rumours from people regarding site shut downs. As of today we have been contacted by the majority of our clients who have advised that it is business as usual and they are continuing to build. They have advised that this situation will only change if the government enforces some form of lockdown and closes construction.

We will keep you updated regarding closures etc... if and when they arise.
