Here at Film Safely Limited, we're incredibly excited to see the release of Fallen Solider, a gripping film created by Daniel Shepherd and starring former Royal Marines Commandos.

While we weren't involved in the production of Fallen Soldier, we are thrilled to witness the success of these talented veterans pursuing careers in the arts. Their dedication and hard work are truly inspiring. The film's wide release is a testament to their skill and perseverance.

We are eager to follow their journey and hope for many future collaborations with fellow veterans in the arts.

🎬✨ Busting H&S Myths in the Entertainment Industry! ✨🎬

Hey, fabulous folks. It’s time to roll out the red carpet for some myth-busting magic courtesy of your friendly neighbourhood HSE consultancy, FFilm Safely Limited🌟

Ever heard the one about how the film industry is just all glamour and no hazards? Well, let’s put on our high viz and dive into the world of entertainment where the only thing more dangerous than a bad plot twist is ignoring health and safety! 🎭🚧

Myth #1: Health & Safety at Work... Im making Art...
Reality check! If you think safety is not an Art, you’ve never seen a drama unfold when someone forgets to use a proper ladder on set. Spoiler alert: it ends with a dramatic fall and a very unamused director! Just ask the crew from Downton Abbey—they’ve had enough plot twists without adding “falling off a rickety ladder” to the mix! Remember, “You’re fired!” isn’t just for The Apprentice; it applies to anyone who ignores safety protocols! After all, we’re here to make art, not work! 🎥🙃

Myth #2: Stunt doubles do all the work!
Ah, the glamorous life of a stunt double! But believe it or not, they’re not just there to look cool. They also have to follow rigorous safety protocols. Forget the rules, and they might end up with a ‘blooper reel’ that’s more Fawlty Towers than Fast & Furious—and that’s one hotel stay you don’t want! 🤕💥

Myth #3: We don’t need safety gear; it’s just a quick shoot!
Quick shoots can lead to quick accidents! Imagine trying to film a dramatic chase scene in a Sherlock episode while someone’s wearing flip-flops instead of proper footwear. Spoiler: the only thing that’s dramatic is the ankle sprain! 🩴🏃‍♂️💨

Myth #4: Health & Safety is just for the big productions!”
Small productions need safety too! Whether you’re shooting a blockbuster or a cheeky Little Britain sketch in your backyard, a rogue garden gnome can turn a light-hearted scene into a trip to A&E quicker than you can say “cut!” 🎬🥴

Myth #5: “If it’s not broken, don’t fix it!”
