What can I say, yesterday The Cooling Rack has delivered its last order and its now time to close the doors ❤️

Its been one hell of a ride. 7yrs of making all your amazing cakes for so many special occasions.

Its time for a new journey now that im back to work full time. Its taken over a year to run down all the orders in my diary and i've loved them all.

Thank you so much to every single person who ordered, shared, liked and followed. My wee business wouldn't have been what it became without all my amazing customers ❤️ it means so much!

I had the absolute pleasure of delivering my last ever wedding cake to Shotts bon accord for Carolanne and Eddie aka the new Mr & Mrs Hughes ❤️

When I say you were the perfect couple to work with i really mean it!

Fresh crisp white lines 👌 beautiful soft sugar peonys and eucalyptus finished with acrylic gold initials and a cheeky wee nod to his favourite team on the back!

I hope you had the most amazing day, thank you for letting me close my wee business on a high creating one of my fav designs ❤️

I had the pleasure of delivering this beauty on Monday to Cornhill Castle for Zoe and Max. Zoe knew exactly what she wanted with a sleek crisp design, traditional pearl swags and their wedding logo on top. Thanks to Burnt Island Occasions for such a stunning charm.

Congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Bell who were married at the beautiful The Popinjay Hotel yesterday.

Gillian and colin chose a 3 tier soft wave design, including artificial magnolias and a clear acrylic middle tier filled with the same flowers and lights 😍 they also chose to have an extra 6" placed on the side as they loved the caramel flavour so much they wanted to include it too!

It was so lovely to work with you both, I hope your day was everything you dreamed of ❤️

The last of this year's celebration/birthday cakes ♥️

It's the end of an era! Thank you so much to everyone who has supported my business over the last 6yrs. It's been incredible being part of your special celebrations 🥰

It's all change again though as I move back to full time work. I have all my lovely wedding couples to complete cakes for next year, I'll be in touch shortly to organise consultations.

For now though it's time to enjoy some much needed time with my wee family ♥️

⭐️⭐️ PLEASE READ⭐️⭐️

The time has come to move on in my business. As of today I will be moving to wedding cakes only for the time being, which means I will no longer be taking any orders for birthday cakes/cupcakes or making any seasonal boxes e.g Halloween Christmas etc.

All current birthday/celebration cake orders that are booked in for this year and next will still be fulfilled, this also includes any wedding cakes already booked ♥️

It's not been an easy decision. Working a day job, school runs, after school clubs and then coming home late and fulfilling orders means I'm often not in bed until the wee hours and my downtime is non existent.

As of today I've started a new full time job which I'm really excited about as it gives me the balance I need 🥰

I want to take the opportunity to thank all my amazing customers over the last 6yrs, my business wouldn't be what it is without you all. I've enjoyed being part of all your celebrations, it's given me so much joy!

To all my lovely wedding couples booked, I look forward to working with you all ♥️
