Strong wind warning !!

Due to the intensity of Storm Ali and the risk of increased wind gusts this afternoon there is a considerably high risk of dangerous travel conditions therefore the decision has been made to issue a status RED WIND WARNING for the northeast until 18:00. Please be advised this warning has been issued by Meaneys weather and careful consideration has been taken regarding this warning.

We have been inundated with reports of road closures and power outages this morning, too many to list. The storm will continue to track northeast this afternoon and further damage cannot be ruled out.
