📢 We're Hiring: Senior Planning Co-ordinator

As Paul Feely & Associates continues to grow, we're looking for a highly organised and proactive Senior Planning Co-ordinator to join our team.

This is a key role within the business, helping to plan, organise and co-ordinate consultancy works, site meetings, task allocation and project activity across a wide range of clients and sectors.

We're looking for someone who enjoys bringing structure to busy environments, keeping projects moving, and takes pride in strong communication and attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will have:
✅ 2–3 years' experience in construction planning, project co-ordination, or a similar role
✅ Experience using CRM and/or task management systems
✅ A strong understanding of lean principles
✅ Excellent organisational and communication skills
✅ The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

Health and safety experience, or a qualification such as IOSH, NEBOSH or equivalent, would be desirable.

What we offer:
✔️ 38-hour working week (Monday to Friday)

Last week, Paul Feely our Managing Director and Martina health and safety advisor visited , where they met with Brendan Crealey and Trevor Wilson for a closer look at the training and practical systems they provide.

The visit included a walkthrough of ITS’s working at height and fall restraint systems, as well as the training they deliver to help businesses improve safety, competency, and confidence when working at height.

Martina may have had a little too much fun getting hands-on with the system 😅, but it was a valuable opportunity to see the equipment, facilities, and training environment in action.

It was a really positive visit and a great reminder of the value that comes from stepping outside the office, sharing knowledge, and building relationships with others working towards the same goal: safer workplaces.

World Environment Day — 5th June 2026 🌿

This year’s theme is .

It also comes at a time when ISO 14001 has been updated for the first time since 2015.

One of the important practical changes is that climate change is now brought more clearly into the environmental management system.

For businesses, this means looking at whether climate change is relevant to their EMS, and whether clients, regulators, insurers or other interested parties have climate-related requirements or expectations.

In practice, this may affect how you review:

🌿 risks and opportunities
🌿 environmental aspects
🌿 objectives
🌿 operational controls
🌿 future planning

The world’s most widely used environmental management standard has, in effect, formalised what World Environment Day is about.

For businesses holding ISO 14001:2015 certification, the transition to ISO 14001:2026 will need to be completed during the 2029 transition window.

Three years might sound like plenty of time, but in practice, it can pass quickly.

Kenny joined Paul Feely & Associates after working in the off-site construction sector, where he gained valuable hands-on experience across all areas of construction operations and logistics.

His role involved pre-construction planning, managing supply chains, and supporting site teams to keep projects running smoothly and safely.

It was during this time that Kenny developed a real appreciation for the importance of health and safety — not just for compliance, but for creating a safe, efficient, and positive place to work.

That experience now shapes the practical, people-first approach he brings to his role as a Health & Safety Advisor.

Outside of work, Kenny is a busy but very proud dad of four.

To recharge, he heads for the Cooley or Mourne Mountains on his mountain bike with friends, tackling the trails before rounding off the day with a few well-earned pints of Guinness. 🍻
