🚀 From falconry to the Financial Times!

We're incredibly proud to announce that Contego Environmental Services has been recognised as one of the UK's Fastest-Growing Companies 2027 by the Financial Times and Statista! 🏆

Our journey began in 2004, when an ambitious 18-year-old Michael Taylor founded the business with just ÂŁ2,000 in funding and support from The King's Trust.

Fast forward 22 years, and Contego has grown from a small North East falconry business into an award-winning, technology-led pest management provider, employing over 200 people and operating across the UK and Ireland.

From pioneering AI and automation to earning multiple industry awards for innovation, we've never stopped challenging convention or finding better ways to do things.

We're delighted to announce Contego has expanded into Ireland with Complete Pest Control.

The move brings Complete into the wider Contego group and creates a pest management operation employing more than 200 people across the UK and Ireland.

Complete Pest Control will continue to operate in Ireland under the leadership of founder and Managing Director Trevor Hayden, who will become Head of Ireland for Contego.

The merger gives Contego an established operating platform in the Irish market and strengthens the group’s ability to support customers with operations across both the UK and Ireland.

Michael Taylor, founder and CEO of Contego Environmental Services, said:

“Ireland has been an important part of our growth plans, but it was always about finding the right business and the right people. Trevor has built a strong business with a great reputation and a culture that fits very naturally with Contego. We’re excited about what we can build together and about bringing our wider technology, specialist services and national-account capability into the Irish market.”

Trevor Hayden, Managing Director of Complete Pest Control and Head of Ireland for Contego, said:
