𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟭

Optimum Care has been lobbying the Department of Health to have the HSC Staff Recognition Payment made to Independent Healthcare staff as promised by the Minister of Health for some time now.

As your employer, we are disappointed that the Independent Sector staff were not paid at the same time as the Public Sector staff.

To date we have not received funds to enable us to make any payment, however, we value all our staff’s service and have made the decision to make a pre-emptive payment to all qualifying staff in line with guidelines.

Staff who served during the period (17th March 2020 – 31st January 2021) for a minimum of 4 weeks qualify for this payment. This payment will be made into this month’s salary (October 2021).

Please refrain from contacting the office to ask about your individual payment as this information will be detailed on your payslip.

We want to thank our staff for their patience, understanding and continued hard work.

Note: We are not currently in a position to make this payment to staff who have left the company and await clarification from authorities on how such payment is to be addressed.

A Locality Co-Ordinator is a vital role in the operational management of Community Care and without these people the care that we deliver to vulnerable people would be almost impossible.

This is a busy, varied and responsible role suiting an individual who can use their initiative and work under pressure. Managing a team of Community Care Workers in a geographical area.

This full time position, normal working hours of Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

Essential:
5 O'Levels/GCSE's including Maths and English (Grade c or above) or equivalent.
Full driving licence, access to transport and contactable by mobile phone
Working knowledge of domiciliary care service with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in service delivery.
Be able to demonstrate strong leadership, initiative, organisational and communication skills and good time management
Basic working knowledge of IT hardware and software systems
Excellent communication skills

Desirable...
Health and Social Care Qualification
Experience within a service related industry
Management of staff rotas
Knowledge of community care is desirable
