Hawleys Auctioneers

Hawleys Auctioneers Antique Auctioneers and valuers. John and Caroline have both been involved in the Antiques trade for rather too long to mention.

About Hawleys

Hawleys Auctioneers is owned and run by John and Caroline Hawley and based in North Cave and Beverley in East Yorkshire. From the first auction in 2001 we have tried to maintain an Independent auction house in Yorkshire with the highest possible integrity. We sustain old fashioned values but keep up to date with the modern day technological advances that are a vital part of the indu

stry and which enable us to be both local and global at the same time. John started working in his father’s antique shop in Beverley in 1966, he had some time off for bad behaviour but returned full time in 1986 and has been dealing and now auctioneering and valuing since then. Caroline has been dealing virtually all her life and opened her first shop in South Cave in 1983 she has been involved in the business ever since. She has recently joined the experts on the BBC in their Flog It and Bargain Hunt programmes and is still enjoying her life in antiques to the full. Please contact us for details on our services.

🌟 World Record Achieved! 🌟

Hawleys Auctioneers is incredibly proud to announce a new world record for a piece of Mouseman furniture.
Our 1937 Robert Thompson ‘Mouseman’ 19ft oak refectory dining table soared to an outstanding £42,000, setting a new benchmark for Mouseman craftsmanship.

And that wasn’t all…
We also achieved another exceptional result with a 16ft Mouseman refectory table, which realised £36,000 — another record in its size category.

Two superb results. Two new records. One unforgettable auction.
Thank you to all our bidders, consignors, and Mouseman enthusiasts for making this a landmark moment.
