Cross stitch has taught me that I can’t count as well as I thought I could and that my brain clearly can’t comprehend a pattern as I’ve managed to put stitches where there shouldn’t be stitches 🙈

I think it looks alright though! Only 11 blocks to go!

THE PAPER QUILT CO IS OPEN 🥳

I’ve decided to open my own pattern shop and it opened today! There’s only a couple of patterns there at the minute but I’ll be adding a couple patterns a week 💕

When I tell you that I am so awkward when taking photos - I actually hate it BUT I’ve made some really cool things and I did say that I would try and push myself out of my comfort zone in 2023!

7 months later and here we are!

Out of 60 photos, only 10 of those I had my eyes open and these are the only 3 I liked 🙈

I loved this pattern - it has elasticated sleeves and double elastic at the waist. I ran out of elastic so the sleeves are very tight so need to replace that but wanted to see what it was like when it’s finished 😍

Oh and I haven’t hemmed it yet so don’t judge 😂

𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙣 // finally working on making my blocks into tote bags! This is a tester one to get the dimensions right and I obvs used the first block I made which was SO off and I pieced the wrong way round 🙈

Next up I'm going to add some lining, possibly a zipped top and a back pocket - because we all need pockets 🤣

MY FIRST PATTERN IS OUT IN 🥳🥳🥳

Thank you so much for all the kind words already! I actually only started paper piecing and quilt making last year so to make a pattern and have it in a magazine in such a short time is amazing!

Obviously, there's a bit that went a bit iffy but I'm not an expert quilter so it's fine 😂
