Business owners and leaders – let’s talk priorities.

We’ve all got our pet hates. The messy yard, the dodgy signage, the dated paintwork – you name it. And sure, there’s a time and place for tidying up the little things.

But sometimes, we get so caught up in the cosmetic stuff, we lose sight of what really matters.

I recently saw a video showing an untidy yard, and yes, it might raise eyebrows – but if the real issue is a hole in your order book or a pipeline that’s running dry, that’s where the focus needs to be.

👉 Strategic priorities should always lead the way.
👉 Tidy up when you can – but don’t mistake activity for progress.

Keep your eye on the bigger picture, and make sure your time, energy, and resources are tackling the real challenges.

This is exactly why I love what I do - helping businesses unlock their potential and turn things around.

When I started working with this client in August last year, they’d spent seven months operating at a loss, with 0% operating profit. Tough decisions were being avoided, and they were struggling to see a way forward.

Fast forward just four months, and with a clear strategy and some difficult but necessary choices, they hit a 20% operating profit. By year-end, they sustained an impressive 18%. Seeing that kind of transformation in such a short time is what makes this work so rewarding.
