Spring Multi-Floral Honey 🍯

We have started our Spring honey extraction! This year, our bees haven't foraged on Oilseed R**e, which will result in a more complex flavor profile to our honey, derived from multiple different flowers.

The honey will be jarred and labeled within the next one to two weeks, after which it will be available for purchase from The Hive & Harvest . Please monitor our stories for further updates! 🐝

Thankyou to everyone who has bought our honey since last years harvest, I’m sure you’ve all enjoyed how tasty it was!

It’s the time of year when managed and unmanaged honey bee colonies swarm, please do reach out if you have any swarms turn up, we should be able to assist so long as they haven’t got into the fabric of a building.

Our delicious honey is back in stock! 🍯 This is our first harvest of 2025 as we decided not to take any of the spring crop. As you can see, it's a lovely golden colour and is now available in 3 different sizes! We have our standard 1lb jars ready to go, and our smaller 8oz jar will be ready as soon as our labels arrive. The small favour jars (1.5oz) will also be available to order in various quantities. Just drop us a message for a quote! 🐝

Due to the unusually warm weather, it's highly probable that honey bees will soon be preparing to swarm, and we've already noticed indications of this in our managed colonies. Whether these bees are residing in beehives, tree cavities, or buildings, the current nectar flow may prompt them to leave and establish a new colony elsewhere.
As always, we provide swarm collection services, as long as the bees have clustered outside on tree branches, the sides of bins for example, or similar accessible locations. Unfortunately, we are unable to assist if they have entered the structure of a building. Once we collect the swarm, we will relocate the bees to one of our apiaries and house them with our other colonies. If you encounter a swarm that you would like us to relocate for you, then please feel free to get in touch! (And you might see our little helper, depending on his availability!) 🐝🍯
