Wilson Recruitment is recruiting an experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver for an established and reputable drinks distribution company based in Aston Clinton, Buckinghamshire.

We understand that experienced Class 1 drivers are in demand, and your skills deserve to be recognised.
Indicative market rates:
• Monday–Friday days: £20.00–£22.00 per hour
• Monday–Friday nights: £20.00–£24.00 per hour
• Saturdays: £23.00–£25.00 per hour
• Sundays: £24.00–£26.00 per hour
Actual pay rates, enhanced rates and shift availability are subject to confirmation.
🚛 WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?
Working within a busy and established drinks distribution operation, your responsibilities are expected to include:
• Safely operating HGV Class 2 (C) vehicles.
• Transporting drinks products efficiently and professionally.
• Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects.
• Ensuring loads are secure and deliveries are completed safely.
• Maintaining accurate transport documentation.
• Complying with drivers' hours, tachograph and Working Time regulations.
• Communicating effectively with the transport team.
• Maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.
Specific routes, delivery arrangements and any loading or unloading duties will be confirmed before placement.
✅ WHAT DO YOU NEED?
We're looking for drivers who can demonstrate:
• Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Ideally, a minimum of 12 months' recent Class 2 driving experience.
• No more than 6 penalty points, subject to insurance requirements.
• Good knowledge of transport regulations and road safety.
• A reliable, punctual and professional approach.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Availability to start at short notice.
Previous experience in drinks distribution, general haulage or palletised deliveries would be advantageous.
