Adding two names to this Rectors’ Board for St Mary’s Church in the village of Cropredy. It had been damaged by mould, so I reframed it and added wooden spacers at the back to allow for air to circulate. An impressive 14th century church in a very pretty Oxfordshire village.

Wonderful visit today to Craftsman Binders in Northampton - a local bookbinders using all the traditional equipment and materials - a hidden gem in Guildhall Road. Fabulous to see the handstitching methods and the hot metal foiling as well as the lovely marbled papers - a real treasure!

Examples made during my recent zoom class on Pen Patterns and Floral Decoration. Over the two sessions we looked at filling a shape on a dark background, then on a light background - and half filling, then freehand with no outer shape. We shared work on a Padlet board where I could give comments and advice.

Recent commission of a framed 50th Birthday gift for one brother to give another. The vinyl record was No1 on the day he was born, and I was given a few photos of them together to arrange with a handwritten greeting. He has a particular liking for Lego and Formula 1 racing so I tried to incorporate those into the design. He was absolutely thrilled with his unique and personalised gift!
