Get Adult Social Care Data – DHSC's free digital service for accessing ASC insights.
Do you want to understand more about local population needs and what care services your local authority wants to commission?
You will imminently be able to sign up to Get Adult Social Care Data (GASCD), which can help with this and more.
GASCD is a new, free digital service from the Department of Health and Social Care for CQC-registered adult social care providers of all service types. Developed with input from providers, it gives you instant access to data and trends for your area, region and across England.
Among other things, you can use GASCD to:
• Find out about care provision in your local area, including a breakdown of community care services by type.
• Compare your bed occupancy with local averages for care homes.
• Read about what community and residential care services are in demand from your local authority and how your local authority breaks down its social care funding.
• Explore disability prevalence by area.
91% of existing users surveyed say GASCD improves their access to information.

How can you sign up for GASCD?
Throughout June all nominated individuals and registered managers will receive an email from [email protected] inviting you to make an account for GASCD.
This will be sent to the address that you have registered with CQC. The subject line will be “Free DHSC Digital Service for Adult Social Care Providers – Sign up now”.
Later in the summer, providers will be able to be delegate access to other members of their team too.
