We are happy to announce that planning permission was granted on our Woodfields Residential Care Home project!

The proposal was to create additional living quarters for residents with improved access arrangements, external lift area and additional leisure facilities.

It was great fun working with members of the care home, both staff and residents, in creating their ideal work/living space. All ideas (no matter how quirky) were considered and we're all looking forward to seeing the end result.

ID Planning carried out alterations to the technical drawing pack following Redrow Homes successful planning application at Caddington. The widespread alterations reflected the changes necessary to obtain planning approval which included revised unit and room sizes, fenestration, elevations and the provision of Lifetime Homes requirements.

These consists of a range of types and tenures from 1-5 bedrooms in a scheme that complies with the Outline Permission and associated documents.

ID Planning have been retained by Redrow Homes as part of the consultancy team responsible for delivering the first phase of the new major urban extension to the north of Ely. We are tasked with the detailed design of 200 new homes which will form a new high quality neighborhood set within an attractive landscape environment in a sustainable location. Engagement with local stakeholders and design panels has been key to the evolution of the proposal which has involved the simultaneous creation of Design Codes for the wider development under a challenging time-frame.
