Job opportunity

Seeking a female carer to join a small team of ladies to help support a profoundly disabled lady in her own home. Part time variable hours available during the week and weekend, usually late afternoon/evening. Regular hours on Thursday afternoons from 4 till 8 and Sundays from 5 till 8. Sunday is paid at £10 hourly and weekly hours at £8.50.

MUST be a driver and preferably over 25. Duties involve personal care and taking her out and about. Car available for use but only to over 25s. Experience preferred and flexibility would be a major plus.

Hi all
I’m putting my shop into ‘holiday mode’ shortly still no more orders till 2020. I know I’ve been a bit rubbish lately as glass has had to take a back seat. Hopefully I’ll have a bit more time in the New Year. Thanks for all the love and Merry Christmas!!

When you sell something as ready to post then find you’ve already sold it, so you cross your fingers that you have the right glass to remake it. Luckily I did!

Seems a good time of year to show you these poppies that I made for a friend. Sorry I’m so quiet but struggling to find time to do much glassing. Just stick with me and the odd thing will pop up.

I’ve changed the colour of my little tortoise candle holder as the dark brown glass is not available currently but I think this colour is nice.
