Eye watering business referrals were in abundance at this mornings BNI Lighthouse event, and what a meeting it was.
Paul Moll of Energy Efficient Logic Windows gave us a talk about the business he's passed and received. Paul has received over £1,000,000 worth of business and has been thanked for £608,000 over the 8 years he's been a member. He also looks after member relations within our chapter so is on hand to help anyone in need.
We had 2 members renew their memberships. Gemma Finch of 1PCS Creative has been thanked for over £100,000 in the 4 years she's been in BNI. Gemma brings so much to our meetings and can always be relied upon to bring her positive upbeat spirit on Friday mornings. We also had our main speaker and all round amazing person Alison Woods of Square Bear renew. Alison has been thanked for over £400,000 over her 8 years as a member.
Alison founded Square Bear Ltd in 1990 and has branded some amazing businesses in that time. When asked what her key to success was she replied 'bravery and laughter'. Alison puts so much effort into everything she does and is truly an inspiration to us all.
This week Lighthouse has passed a staggering £629,000 in business with £600,000 coming from the multi award winning Matt Dann of Simply Techspace. Well done Matt. That is simply simply lovely. We also had a visit from our Director Duncan Webster ARPS. Duncan gave recognition to 5 of our members for the great work they put into making Lighthouse the best business network in the region.
