BRSCC TO ORGANISE FIA WEC’S RETURN TO SILVERSTONE

The BRSCC is delighted to confirm that it has been appointed as the organising club for the 2027 FIA WEC 6 Hours of Silverstone, taking place on 23–25 April 2027.

The FIA World Endurance Championship represents the pinnacle of international sportscar racing, bringing together many of the world’s leading manufacturers, teams and drivers. Its return to Silverstone in 2027 marks the championship’s first visit to the circuit since 2019.

BRSCC’s appointment builds on the Club’s extensive experience of delivering major international and endurance race meetings. Most recently, the Club organised the European Le Mans Series rounds at Silverstone in both 2025 and 2026, working closely with the ACO, Silverstone, Motorsport UK and championship personnel.

The Club also has a long-standing history of organising top-level endurance and GT racing in the UK, including previous involvement with FIA WEC events at Silverstone.

Luke Souch, Head of Club Operations at the BRSCC, said, “Being appointed as the organising club for the return of the FIA World Endurance Championship to Silverstone is a tremendous honour for everyone at the BRSCC.

“Our work with the European Le Mans Series in 2025 and 2026 has given our team valuable recent experience of delivering major international endurance events at Silverstone, building on the Club’s long history in sportscar and endurance racing.

“We are extremely proud to have been entrusted with this responsibility and look forward to working with the FIA, ACO, Motorsport UK and Silverstone to deliver an outstanding 6 Hours of Silverstone.”

The 2027 FIA WEC 6 Hours of Silverstone takes place from 23–25 April 2027.

On the 17th of October, Positive Perception will be taking to the virtual track for the six-hour Virtual Race of Remembrance, raising money for Mission Motorsport.

The team will be bringing three specially designed cars to the grid, representing the Army, Royal Navy and RAF, with each livery created to recognise the different branches of the Armed Forces.
