Good evening everyone. Yes I’m still here. Have remained at Coventry & Warwickshire CCG in our court of protection team completing applications under the deprivation of liberty safeguards. We are now considered a specialist para legal team by the court judges. It’s been such a journey and I am continuing to learn & grow.
Hope everyone is enjoying the jubilee celebrations. I for one am working but enjoying all the photos posted. Sending huge love for our Queen for her unprecedented service. ❤️❤️❤️

Morning Peeps 🙏🏻. Little update from me as it’s been a while since I last posted. Nothing staggering has changed except I with my 2 colleagues at the CCG have been put forward for an HSJ award for our Court of Protection work for deprivation of Liberty applications before the LPS comes in next year ( should’ve been April now October) it is a red risk project but together we’re smashing our way through the back log. So if any CCG are needing any help in this area please let me know. 🙏🏻. Thank you forever grateful 😊

Good Morning ( just) lovely people. I hope everyone is keeping safe and well as the new saying goes 🙏🏻. Well after 9 months of working from home completing court of protection applications for those who have restrictions in place and receive exceptional care and support usually from their family. I am pleased to say we have now hit zero. Something acknowledged from the very top managers of the CCG in a very humbling email Which I can use for my nursing validation. Also I can finally breathe again and reduce my hours in time to attempt to get the “ lockdown” body back in the gym. Hope every one has a calm weekend. 🥰

What a week I’m having ! Back to back virtual reviews seem to be more tiring than face to face! Has anyone else found that? Interested to know. Also splitting my roles for court of protection and Section 117 is proving difficult as my case load appears to need my attention this week also. I’ve also increased my working week to full time in the short term. LPS training was interesting grateful for a bit of space before implementing it though.
Hope everyone is keeping safe and well. Thank you to all my fellow Nurses for their hard work. Always here for a chat for anyone who needs it. 🙏🏻

Morning you lovely people 🙏🏻. Hope everyone is staying safe and well. Everyone has difficult weeks and mine has been one of those. So trying to keep it real and it’s ok to say that. Lack of motivation and drive couple with a 3 day migraine has kept me off kilter this week. So hoping next week will be better. I’m currently still working from home on mental capacity assessments for the court of protection for the most amazing CCG. &Rugby. Please feel free to comment on how your week has been. We are not alone 🙏🏻. But above all Be Kind to one another. ❤️

Long time since last post it seems! Apologies for that. New post is going well, no longer in Cambridge 🙏🏻 Coventry & Rugby is my new base and I cannot be more chuffed. I have now become a LTD company under MJB Consultants ( note slight adjustment) and the role is a CAPT assessor and S117 case manager. I am so very grateful to work for an awesome agency in Woodrow Mercer who have supported my last 2 ventures. My only ventures to overcome are 6 exit roundabouts that cause my heart to flutter slightly as I count them off. !! 😊🤦🏼‍♀️
