UEA Pakistan Society

UEA Pakistan Society The Pakistan Society (AKA PakSoc) is proud to be the sole representative of Pakistan, its people and culture, in the Norfolk area.

Such an exclusive and important role requires an incredible amount of responsibility, and through the years we have contributed to the increasing awareness of Pakistani culture and traditions, both in UEA and in Norwich. Our motives are simple:

- Ensure the culture and traditions of Pakistan are retained and expressed through all activities.

- To debate, discuss and dissolve the social, politica

l and economical problems the Pakistani people are facing, through intellectual debate and active involvement with Pakistani NGOs.

- Creating an ethos that emphasises the importance of strong friendships; ensuring our incredibly diverse group of members a bright and fruitful future through the excellent networking opportunities the Pakistan Society is known for having.

- To bring the incredible intensity and beauty of the Arts in Pakistan to the University & local community through exhibitions, fashion shows and live music.

- MOST IMPORTANTLY, to ensure that people of all cultures & religions, all ethnicities, all sexual orientations and all genders are wholly represented and included. The Pakistan Society has revamped its ethos and ultimately intends to maintain an increasingly mature, open-minded and intellectual environment in all our events, meetings and other activities. EID-UL-FITAR MUBARAK
Everyone at PakSoc wishes you Eid Mubarak! May Allah accept our Ramadan and may Allah give us the strength and guidance to further improve ourselves and keep up the good habits we obtained this Ramadan.
This Eid, we will keep the people who lost their lives in Karachi due to a tragic accident in our prayers and we request you to do the same! May Allah give the families Sabr.
Ameen.
Don’t spend all of the Eidi at one place!
Eid Mubarak!
