Have you ever opened a delivery to find gorgeous print on the inside of the box?

Inside print is used in ecommerce packaging for a whole host of reasons:

🚛Disguised damage: no one wants a big dark smudge on the nice white print, keep the outside plain brown and any dirt or mess from the transit process blends in easier.

🛡️Reduced theft: if the porch pirate doesn’t know what is in the box it makes it far less appealing, luxury names or expensive signaling is a sure-fire way to draw the wrong kind of attention. Save the wow for when the package is opened

🤩Wow factor: the juxtaposition of a plain brown outer with a vibrant interior amplifies the rush of joy we all experience when opening a parcel with our name on it. The unboxing experience takes the process from being about the product to about the brand.
