Rewarding to receive a message like this from a happy customer!

“Malcolm Cox, for Mackenzie Morgan, has successfully guided eCube Maintenance through the approval process from start to finish. This included the preparation of our MOE, process definition, validation, and readiness plans prior to the EASA audit. Malcolm supported the offsite and onsite audit process ensuring that we achieved a positive result and are now approved as a Part 145 organisation. Thanks for your support Malcolm. We hope to work with you again in the future.”

In February 2021, one of our Under 14 players, Hugo Pattison, was diagnosed with stage 3 testicular cancer. From his initial diagnosis, Hugo has been adamant in sharing his experience and spreading awareness of testicular cancer with his teammates and the wider community. Whilst testicular cancer is very treatable, it is a particularly aggressive cancer that can spread quickly and therefore early diagnosis is essential. Hugo’s cancer care was initially split between the Norfolk and Norwich and Addenbrooke’s hospitals. Hugo had initial surgery at Addenbrooke’s followed by 3 courses of chemotherapy split between Addenbrooke’s and the Norfolk and Norwich hospitals. He recently had travel to St Thomas’ in London for further specialist surgery.

East Anglia is the only part of the country not to have its own dedicated children’s hospital. Based on his own experiences, Hugo has decided that he would like to dedicate some of his fundraising efforts in support of the new children’s hospital so that future paediatric patients from the Eastern Counties region can go to a single centre of excellence for their care needs.

Wymondham Rugby Club is to host a charity fun day on 1 August 2021 in order to raise money to support the proposed new children’s hospital project at Addenbrooke’s.

One of our directors is working with The international Aviation Group on a new initiative to help aviation related business:

Airline & MRO Recovery and Restructuring.
We have partnered with Amaechi Nsofor of Grant Thornton (London) the global accountants – Mr Nsofor & his team have for more than 15 years, advised lenders and companies on multiple challenging and high-profile projects including: JJB Sports, Aston Martin, Amtel Vredestein, Opal Property Group and Alternative Hotel Group.
As a team we will offer any distressed aviation business the opportunity for a full business review which will provide the stakeholders/management with a range of costed and referenced recovery solutions. IAG is providing the in-depth knowledge and technical know-how whilst Grant Thornton complement this with a full accountancy and financial assessment and proposals.
The IAG team is headed up by Malcolm Cox who was until recently the interim post holder for Continuing Airworthiness Management, at Flybe Airline, currently he is acting as the Interim Accountable Manager (MD) for a distressed component overhaul facility & is also currently the Nominated Person for Continuing Airworthiness Management for London’s Air Ambulance. He is supported by Andrew Huntly who was until recently the European Sales and Marketing director for Virgin Airways – in support there is a full team of very experienced and qualified professionals.

A few bits and bobs to sort out and I am flying home tonight from Toulouse, if I have enough petrol and home for a nice few days, with the family, before things turn to helicopters! Not a stationary target!

If any of my aircraft delivery friends are in TARMAC, at Lourdes-Tarbes Airport, I suggest that you visit Le Tourne Broche https://www.facebook.com/letournebroche65
for a good local French cooking, good wine and good atmosphere! A few good meals during this project!

Interesting approach to maintenance forecasting today, a removal for access counts towards a scheduled maintenance activity! Back to looking for the paperwork tomorrow, but I wont win the lottery to say the item is overdue!
