today with Sarah + Marcus 🙏🏼 you best believe we literally sang + danced when we got some sunshine! by the time the rain came we had got so many shots in the bag and it was another example of how I literally get the best couples! who were so up for embracing the rain and getting some epic extra soggy shots 🙏🏼

I always encourage couples to embrace the weather and make the best of it, but my heart broke for these guys when I landed in Milan, knowing we’d planned everything around the best light + sunrise/ sunset but the impending weather was a mix of thunderstorms and torrential rain (see yesterday’s post for the full DL), but with a bit of flex we managed not one, but two epic shoots ❤️

my favourite thing about my work is connecting with people from all around the world ✨ forever grateful to get to work with incredible couples ✨🙏🏼 I say it all the time but I really do get the best of the best ✨

now heading to London for tomorrow’s wedding 🙏🏼 come on September let’s goooo ✨

the sunniest day ever for Lara + Jack who celebrated their Italian inspired wedding at Middleton lodge today ✨ I first met these guys in real life after the birth of their darling son William and it was so lovely to meet their extended family 🥰

there were so many gorg details to enjoy and as a green fanatic I was obviously beyond obsessed with the shoes 🤤

Immaculate vibes with Ava and Paul in Portofino harbour at sunset ✨ celebrating their elopement with their closest family + friends before bigger celebrations with their extended guests.

Ava found me on Instagram which is wild. How incredible is it that we can connect with people from across the world via this platform! It’s giving modern pen pal + I love it. We vibed straight away and it’s been so cute catching up about the wedding which she and Paul have turned around in record time with the help of Italian wedding muse + oracle ✨

I am so grateful to be working in such beautiful places with some beautiful souls ❤️

I’m abroad pretty much all of august + am so grateful to past me for actually blocking out some time between weddings to edit + rest. I’ve been speaking so much Italian, French and Spanish this summer and it just feels so good to be flexing my languages ✨ plus you always feel extra welcome when you’re trying to chat to people in their native tongues.

I’m going to try my best to keep sharing as I go as I am having such a beautiful summer ✨ thanks as always for engaging with my work I appreciate it so much ✨

when I tell you how nothing could stop me from editing these images IMMEDIATELY 🙏🏻🌊✨ soooooo worth the trip to wales 🙏🏻

there are so many reasons why I love a sunrise shoot. Yes, the alarm is brutal buuuuut we often get wherever we are to ourselves (didn’t see a soul this morning 🤌🏼), the light is sooooo soft and flattering, and for beaches you get more range as we get to shoot along the shore as the tide is out ✨

pre hip issues, I’ve always loved the beach. as I started to lose my mobility in my early 20s anything with uneven ground was a big no and I naturally limited these spaces both at work and play.

at the end of last year I made a mood board for the year ahead (find me on Pinterest to see it 🤌🏼) and there was so much beach on there. little did I know literally that week I would book my hip replacement, having it done just 2 weeks later.

I’m 6 months post op this month and it feels incredible to be able to do shoots like this. I feel like I’ve found my spark again and I’m so excited to create ✨ yeah of course I’ve done beach shoots since doing photo but I’ve always been very anxious and today was honestly such a big moment for me.

thank you to amber + james for not only waking up at the crack of dawn but gifting me the most wonderful pack up (Welsh cakes included) 🤌🏼 and being up for literally anything.

my cheeks are still hurting from smiling 💀 as if this is my job!!!!

random frames that make me smile from today’s epic London celebration ✨ there is something so magic about town hall weddings. the no fuss, no frills vibes! you’re literally in and out, any shots we get are extra conversational and unstaged (bar the 5-10 minutes you’re allowed outside the venue for portraits). everything else is as it happens, making the most of little walks 🤌🏼 the chaos of London really adds to the energy of the photos which I love ❤️

today was extra special as I got to photograph Clare + Andy’s epic south of France wedding and it was SO lucky that I was actually free to shoot this too. (A last minute Saturday in July what are the chances!!!). it was soooooo nice to see their gorgeous family and friends after we all had so much fun together in France. the only shot requested was an epic confetti shot and I love these 🥰

I can’t wait to dive into the final edit for this one, but for now some of my favourites ✨ including some detail shots of one of my favourite London ceilings (inspired by la maravilla ).
