May Charity Donation 🌟

This month our £300 donation is going to Meningitis Now - nominated by Paul Brown, Works Engineering Supervisor at D.B. Brooks.

Meningitis is the inflammation of the membranes that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. It can be life-threatening.

Meningitis Now is the only charity dedicated to fighting Meningitis in the UK.

For over 40 years they have invested over £12.7 million into early-stage research that has played a critical part in the introduction of five life-saving vaccines.

April Charity Donation 🌟

The charity chosen to receive our April donation is Thringstone Miners Social Centre in Leicestershire, nominated by James Brooks, Operations Director at Kirton Water Treatment Services.

The social centre offers the local community space for classes such as seated exercise, children's boxing, Dementia daycare, toddler group and local grassroots football.

We are proud to be able to donate funds to help the running of these essential services.

Our March Charity Donation ⭐

Nominated by Greg Haigh, Engineering Director at Interpanel, this month's chosen charity who will receive a £300 donation from TLA is Epic Partners.

Epic Partners is a Nottingham-based charity dedicated to empowering positive change for children and young people.

They deliver inclusive sports, youth and mentoring programmes that support those facing challenges such as Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and social exclusion.

Through safe spaces, trusted adult relationships and positive activities, Epic Partners help young people build confidence, develop life skills and make informed choices about their future.

In celebration of International Women's Day, we invited the TLA team to wear pink today 💗

International Women's Day acknowledges the social, economic and cultural achievements of women and shines a light on the ongoing fight for equality.

Women are integral to TLA, making up 27.6% of our workforce. It's a pleasure to celebrate all of the women at TLA and beyond!

Our £300 monthly donation for February has gone to Beaumond House Hospice.

The hospice was nominated by a member of TLA staff who's friends and family have been cared for by the charity.

Beaumond House Hospice offers personalised palliative care to patients in Newark and Sherwood with active, progressive and advanced illnessses, both in the hospice and in the community.

This month we are celebrating the 13th anniversary of TLA Sheffield 🎉

Since March 2013, the Sheffield team have been providing quick, reliable and friendly service in the South Yorkshire area.

It's been great to see our Sheffield branch grow over the last 13 years and, with the help of newly appointed Area Sales Manager Liam Johnson, we are lookng forward to seeing it continue to grow.

We would like to thank all of our customers and suppliers for their support and business since we opened the Sheffield branch 🤝

We're pleased to welcome Liam Johnson to TLA 🤝

Liam will be working from our Sheffield Branch as Area Sales Manager.

Liam started his career on an EDA apprenticeship scheme at Edmundson Electrial. He previously worked as Internal Sales and Key Account Manager for Lockwell Electrical and Area Sales Manager for WAGO.

Liam is an avid Leicester city supporter and currently holds a season ticket. He loves travelling with his 2 dogs, especially to Cornwall.
