I can truly claim to have worked at every level within an organisation from shop floor laborer, machine operative, lower/senior management and eventually group director level spanning over 35 years of my working life. This experience, knowledge and lessons learned over the years has taught me the challenges that organisations have on a day to day basis of managing production, budgets, suppliers, c

ustomers, people and health and safety. I have been there, took the short cuts, disregarded health and safety control measures and been injured. Maybe this was naivety, being young, or just me, but over the years I have learned that poor health and safety management affects business costs, morale and eventually productivity.
