So pleased that the Met system has gone live today. It’s taken over a year of planning, building and officer training and today is the launch.

This marks the 35th UK police service to use Neighbourhood Alert to power their community messaging. It’s been a pleasure to work with the staff and officers at The Met, they really have been driven by a desire to apply the citizen-focused approach that many other forces have got right around the country.

The Charter, designed to establish foundational principles for parties involved, has the goal of bringing all of policing and industry closer together in a strategic partnership. The Charter will create a more efficient and healthy environment, yielding a greater return on investment alongside a larger opportunity for industry development.

Over 270 local artists and enthusiasts have volunteered their time over the last two years to create a huge mosaic. Exciting times for Sussex Neighbourhood Watch 👀

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak met with members of the Sussex Neighbourhood Watch on Monday, in connection with Sussex Police and Crime Commissioner Katy Bourne; discussing the significance of their role, as well as the scale of their network, powered by Neighbourhood Alert.

Kent Police have done such a fantastic job since the launch of https://www.mycommunityvoicekent.co.uk. The promotion video explains the concept but cannot portray the hard work that all officers involved have put into growing this database and communicating with its members.
