One of the loveliest things about working in sustainability is meeting people who care for the land the same way wellness practitioners care for the body and mind. Quarnero, an organic skincare house based in Ičići on Croatia’s Kvarner coast, is a beautiful example of this. What began in the 1970s as a family herb garden, tended by founder’s grandmother Roza, has grown into a NATRUE certified, vegan approved range of face and body oils and bath salts, crafted with Mediterranean herbs sourced from the Kvarner islands’ unique microclimate.
