💫 Josh Glover 💫

Pro Direct Graduate Josh Glover began his journey with us starting as a shy and timid individual who then went onto drastic success during his time with us. During his time with us Josh gradually became the person he is today through mentoring and applying himself to what we do consistently. Josh has now gone onto work full time for the NHS whilst playing semi professional football. Josh’s journey is different too many as this young man has gone on to launch his own goalkeeper glove business at 19 years old. Through relentless hard work and mental focus Josh also earned the opportunity to go and play football in Spain for 6 months in Alicante and shortly after returning he was given an excellent opportunity to film with Jamie Vardy at Leicester city’s state of the art of the art facilities. This individuals journey is proof that we support students and prepare them for life after Pro Direct. 📈🔋⚽️

🎟️ MORE THAN JUST A TICKET

At ProDirect Academy, we believe learning doesn’t always happen in the classroom.

That’s why we give our students the opportunity to experience Premier League football live — taking in the atmosphere, observing the players, experiencing matchday environments and understanding what the game looks and feels like at the highest level. ⚽️

From the stands to the pitch, every experience is another opportunity to learn, be inspired and grow.

🌟 Experience. Opportunity. Education. Football.

This is what being part of ProDirect Academy is all about.

From grassroots to the premier league stage 🏟️ 📈

Yesterday we welcomed Akil Howson to ProDirect Nottingham.
An established Premier League and EFL referee to our site to talk to our learners. Akil shared his refereeing experiences and struggles along his journey. Akil made history by being the first black match official to officiate the FA cup final between Chelsea and Manchester City in 2026.

Akil also went explained some of the new rule changes within football for the new upcoming season with our learners giving them an insight before the season commences.

A great opportunity for our learners to take on Akil’s life experiences and that not everyone’s journey is easy facing many setbacks along his way.

Pre season in full flow 🔋📈💪🏼

When opposition pull out we continue to play games. Giving our learners the opportunity to grow and develop at every opportunity possible. Game time is crucial in player development and giving them the stage to have that is key.

🎤 A chance to hear it from someone who's lived it

Our students had the opportunity to listen to share his football journey — the highs, the setbacks, what he thinks of on the pitch and what it really takes to reach the top level

These are the experiences that help young players see what's possible and learn from those who have walked the path before them

Opportunities like this aren't easy to access, but at ProDirect Academy we're committed to giving our players unique insights, connections, and experiences that go far beyond the pitch

⚽ Learn. Connect. Be Inspired.
