Regular descaling is a must.
This is the reason to regularly descale your machine, this can block pipes and go as hard as cement.
There are alot of descaler products out there, check reviews to see what's good.
Using a filter or bottled water, filtered water may help but won't stop the build up of limescale 100% so I would still suggest doing a descale.

A common fault with the sage oracle and oracle touch, these metal sleeves sit in the pipe keeping the brass knuckle firmly seated on the pipe.
Recently I've had alot of machines where the sleeve has come out the pipe and gone into the boiler which will then cause a leak, if you notice anything wrong with extra heat or hissing sounds, I would suggest getting the machine looked at sooner rather than later to hopefully save money of repairs.

Machine wasn't producing water from any outlet, after taking apart the solenoids, connectors and pipes from the boiler it seemed one pipe was solid blocked with limescale.
After soaking and cleaning all the connectors and solenoid parts it was put back together and was working fine.
The white tub shows the limescale flakes flushed out after a descale and flush.

Machine had no water running through at all, after some testing it turned out to be the PRINTED HEATER ASSY that was blocked after changing for a new one only a small amount of water was coming out, so some more testing and the pump wasn't performing but after upgrading this from a EP5 to a EX5 I got full pressure and a brilliant working machine.
Machine was posted with parcelforce from Dave Hart and sent back to him with no problems.

On this machine there is a fuse on the wiring directly connected to the grinder, customer was asked what repair they would prefer and opted for a full grinder replacement.
After the swap over a Stone nearly broke the new grinder 🤦‍♂️ this can happen but it's a good idea to pour beans in slowly just to check yourself but if you think something may have gone into the grinder switch off machine straight away and open and clean your grinder.
