What a weekend at the Lancashire Cricket Expo 🙌

We had some great conversations with clubs about the challenges they are facing right now and what they need to grow sustainably. Facilities, volunteer time, fundraising pressures, long term planning. It is clear clubs are spinning a lot of plates.

It was also brilliant to connect with existing PitchIn Platform customers and hear their feedback. Those conversations genuinely shape how we keep improving the platform.

We also spoke with other brands working in cricket about how they are supporting the game and their plans for the future, plus a really interesting discussion with the Foundation about fundraising needs across the region.

The ambition across the cricket community is clear. Now it is about making sure clubs have the tools and recurring income to support that growth properly.

Brilliant couple of days at the Lancashire Cricket Expo!

Hearing Kate Cross talk about the excitement of her England Cricket debut and then about playing in The Hundred in front of packed, high energy crowds really shows how far the women’s game has come.

As that momentum builds at the top, clubs at grassroots level are feeling it too. More girls playing means more coaching, facilities, equipment and structure needed locally.

Clubs need sustainable, recurring income to support that growth properly.

That is exactly why we are building PitchIn Platform. Helping clubs raise more funds, with less effort and volunteer hours.

The future of the women’s and girls’ game is exciting. The infrastructure behind it needs to grow just as fast.

Tonight Tyler and Millie were at Thetford Town CC for the launch of Project 100, a brilliant effort to raise £100,000 in 12 weeks to invest back into the club and its facilities 🏏

The plans are all about giving more back to players, families and the local community, from better practice nets to improved spaces around the ground. It’s a big goal and exactly the kind of thing that shows how special grassroots clubs can be when everyone gets behind them.

We’re really grateful to be involved and to help Thetford Town CC make it easy for people to support the club they love. Huge credit to everyone at the club!
