When it comes to EOTAS:
- do you know your s19 from your s61?
- are you ensuring all children and young people with an EHCP are receiving their educational entitlement?
- can you account for every child that’s not in school?
-do you have robust policies and procedures in place for decision making and funding arrangements for EOTAS?

Our team have been busy supporting alternative provisions. The DfE consult into AP is a clear indicator of the direction of travel and as the new term starts it’s a good time to begin thinking about how this may impact your alternative provision if the consultation leads to policy. Whilst you won’t be required to be Ofsted registered there will be greater regulation and a focus on alternative provision being seen and used as part of a reintegration offer for children and young people rather than a destination.
