I have a temporary resin shortage! It is due to supply chain logistics and the amazing French work culture. I have been using the best quality resin I can find, Sika Axon F38.
It is great to work with at a viscosity of 35 mPas! Unfortunately it is produced in small quantities, as it has a shorter shelf life and is expensive. So occasionally there are issues with supply.

This time around, the UK company I bought from (it is NOT MBFG as shown on the jugs, I fill these ones from larger containers. MBFG are also out of stock on the F38) received a shipment that was two of the same resin part, not the A and B parts that make the resin. These suppliers are based in France. In France they have a great work culture where many companies close over August so they are now closed.
End result is that I have no resin. My supplier said they will send me 10kg they have in stock, so I can get casting again when that arrives. That might see me through the next couple of weeks until the suppliers are open again in early September.

I apologise for any delays. If anyone else knows a decent 2 minute potlife polyurethane that has a viscosity of 35 mPas or less then please hit me up!

Had a fantastic day at Bootleg BOYL. I ran Helsreach, my multiplayer hack of Oldhammer Necromunda. It went really well, some fantastic moments, great fun players and really amazing models. So fun 😁

I feel also that I should comment my web hosts, TMD Hosting. They always do a really quick job and are very helpful. I'd never manage my domain without their help, and the quick turnaround today was frankly amazing.

The shop and whole website is down probably over the weekend! I recently migrated the website from ".co.uk" to ".net" due to legacy reasons (its a long story, 21 years long!). Anyway, to send email I need to update the main registry or something technical like that, which means I had to delete the current domains on my cpanel. Dont worry, I backed everything up first! Anyway, its now down. Lets hope my hosts get it back up quickly, they are usually very good at that sort of thing.

This weekend has organised an international virtual gaming festival called IONT. I will be participating by running some MiniGangs in Nottingham Arboretum on Sunday. Pop down if you fancy a game! You can bring a MiniGang, although I will have plenty spare. Or perhaps bring another game suitable for playing outside? This Saturday I'm hosting a game of Helsreach at Bootleg BOYL, Fishergate Point, just next to the Ice Arena. It is a modded multiplayer version of Oldhammer Necromunda. Come and join if you dare! We will be running an election for mayor, and will be doing mail in votes so if you cant come then be sure to post your vote. Should add some fun interactions to the normal chaos. Count Binface is standing, will he take control?
