We are proud to have supported the Nuneaton Community Carnival for a second year running, managing security and safety for a notably busier event.

Our multi-phased deployment required Close Protection for VIPs, a core team to es**rt the float procession and strategic anti-vehicle mitigation to secure the town centre gala.

Our thanks to the event organisers for their continued trust in Totum Securitas, and to our team on the ground. Their professionalism, attentiveness and seamless teamwork ensured the event ran smoothly from start to finish.

We are pleased to mark the successful completion of our 24/7 deployment at the WeBelieve Festival, hosted on the historic seminary grounds of St Mary’s College, Oscott. Working in close partnership with the event management team and volunteer stewards, our operatives maintained an attentive yet unobtrusive presence. We managed access control, conducted night operations, and upheld robust safeguarding protocols to preserve an atmosphere of total sanctuary.

Providing stewardship for a gathering attended by so many clergy, religious orders, and families requires an exemplary standard of professional discipline, discretion, and reverence. Our team was delighted to assist attendees, forge valued connections with visiting guests, and ensure a safe, welcoming atmosphere. We extend our thanks to the organisers for placing their trust in us, and we look forward to future opportunities to work together.

On Armed Forces Day, Totum Securitas acknowledges the service of His Majesty’s Armed Forces. Within our discipline, we maintain a quiet respect for the standard of protection and structural precision refined by those in uniform.

In alignment with these values, we confirm our intention to sign the Armed Forces Covenant. This pledge marks a deliberate commitment to welcoming veterans and service leavers into our operational framework.

We look forward to formalising this partnership in the coming days, ensuring our standards continue to mirror the finest traditions of service.

A busy sequence of weekends across our diverse portfolio, highlights the dedication of our deployment teams. From events in country parks to busy late-night venues, our operatives balance a welcoming demeanour with the sharp professional discipline required to manage large crowds. Our BID Wardens and Ambassadors serve as the professional face of the districts they protect, providing a sophisticated bridge between local businesses, stakeholders and the public. Unlike standard security patrols, our personnel are specifically trained to balance a welcoming, helpful presence with the assertive expertise required to manage town centre challenges. By establishing a long-standing rapport with levy payers and identifying local concerns before they escalate, our team acts as a dedicated asset for the economic vitality of the high street.

We recognise that for a Business Improvement District, visibility and accountability are paramount. Our wardens utilise advanced digital reporting to provide real-time data on business crime, environmental issues, and anti-social behaviour, allowing BID managers to demonstrate tangible value to their members. We take great pride in our ability to reduce crime and improve the perception of safety through a traditional, highly-disciplined approach to public-facing security. We invite Business Improvement Districts seeking a premier partner in urban management to contact us to discuss a bespoke deployment for their area.

The conclusion of our long-standing service at The Blue Bear, marks the completion of a significant chapter for our door supervision team.

Over the years, our operatives have been privileged to form a long-standing rapport with both the staff and the loyal customer base, departing with many fond memories of the vibrant atmosphere we helped to safeguard. We take great pride in the professional standards and values, our team consistently upheld throughout this tenure.

As the venue undergoes its refurbishment to relaunch as The Abbey Tavern, we wish to extend our sincere gratitude to the O’Neill family, for their continued trust in our partnership. We are delighted to be supporting this premier new Irish pub, which will offer an enhanced programme of live entertainment, live sport and late-evening opening hours.

We take great pleasure in welcoming both familiar faces and new guests through the doors, ensuring that The Abbey Tavern remains a safe and welcoming environment for the town of Nuneaton to enjoy.

We look forward to seeing you all on the 14th of March for the grand opening event.

During the 826th Atherstone Ball Game, our door supervision team was delighted to support a new venue, ensuring a secure and welcoming environment for this cherished local tradition. Our operatives maintained an approachable and friendly presence, quickly establishing a positive rapport with the local community while managing the constant flow of participants and spectators. By acting decisively to secure the premises whenever the game approached the entrance, we successfully shielded the venue from potential damage, allowing the interior staff to serve their guests with confidence.

Our personnel thoroughly enjoyed the spirited atmosphere and the warm hospitality extended by the residents of Atherstone. It was a privilege to provide a safe environment for the community to gather and refresh, and we take great pride in the professional conduct displayed by our team. We are delighted to be partnering with the landlady Naomi, at another of her premises and look forward to supporting her future plans. We value the connections made during this historic event and look forward to returning to the town for future occasions.

The conclusion of Christmas and the arrival of the New Year provide an opportunity for reflection. Over this demanding period, our team demonstrated remarkable diligence across our portfolio, providing sophisticated security solutions through door supervision, event safety and BID warden patrols.

Our personnel consistently exhibited the composure and traditional values that define our standards. We take great pride in the smart appearance and professional conduct displayed by our operatives at every venue and across the various locations we serve.

Furthermore, we wish to thank our esteemed partners for their continued trust. It is a privilege to be entrusted with the safety and reputation of your establishments and events during the busy Christmas and New Year season.

As we prepare for the New Year’s Eve celebrations, our Safety Team is working to ensure everyone has an enjoyable and welcoming night in the town centre.

Our team will be on active patrol until 05:00 to support local businesses and provide a helpful presence for the public. To help make the most of your evening, we recommend following these top tips.

1) Plan your journey:

Pre-book your transport or arrange a designated driver in advance for a smooth journey home.

2) Stay with your group:

Looking out for one another and staying together ensures an enjoyable night for everyone.

3) Trust your instincts:

If you see something that doesn't feel right, or if you feel vulnerable, please report it to our team, a venue door supervisor or the police. You can also "Ask for Angela" at any of our town centre venues if you need discreet support.

4) Stay alert:

Keep a close eye on your personal belongings and never leave your drinks unattended while you are out.

In addition to our team, support is readily available from door supervisors at licensed venues and Warwickshire Police officers who will also be on patrol throughout the evening. Our operatives remain in constant communication with these partners and the CCTV control room to ensure a vibrant and friendly atmosphere.

We wish everyone an enjoyable evening and look forward to a successful start to the year for our local businesses and visitors.
