Have you heard great things about networking - but you're still feeling a bit nervous about the idea of attending a meeting?
Don't worry! Networking's not scary - or at least it's not at FindaBiz!
🤗 At FindaBiz Networking we pride ourself on our relaxed and friendly atmosphere - we see ourselves as the antidote to stuffy, formal networking with strict rules and regulations.
🙅♀️ You won't find any scary rules at FaB for starters - all we ask of our members is they attend as regularly as possible, and we have a one-seat policy in place - so we have one expert from each industry in our group.
😀 When you arrive (at around our start time of 6pm) you'll receive a warm welcome from our your host (check our highlights to meet the organisers of each FaB group) who will answer any questions, show you where the refreshments are, and then introduce you to some of our other lovely friendly members for a chat.
💬 The meeting starts with open networking, so all you have to do is grab a drink and get talking.
🌟 After that, there's the business news section, and then a 60-second round where you'll have the opportunity to introduce yourself and your business to the whole group. But don't worry if you don't want to do that! Your host will check you're comfortable ahead of time, and if you'd prefer, they can do your introduction for you.
🥪 After that it's a quick break for more food and open networking, then there will be a 15-minute speaker slot from one of our members sharing their expertise.
🤝 The final part of the meeting is a "member & member" time - basically a 1 to 1 carried out within the meeting itself - and then the host will wrap up and it's time to go home. We are respectful of our members' time and won't run over the 8pm end time for the meeting.
😋 Oh, and we should mention that the food provided by all of our venues is delicious! (It’s an unofficial benefit of our meetings!)
