Small scale sawmill specialising in milling custom size Larch, Douglas and Western Red cedar. Uses for our timber can range from cladding buildings such as sheds, pods and even houses. We can supply beams, boards and posts to any size you require and in any quantity from 1 board through to several thousand. Turnaround time for most orders is within 2 weeks, but we do work hard to get timber ready

for reasonable deadlines

Keep a regular eye on our page as we often have special offers on wavey edge cladding, 2nd quality boards and various other bits that don't quite hit the quality control pass mark

A pleasant change today; milling some lovely Cedar from a nearby estate. They're wanting it milled into 8" & 10" boards that will replace window sills. Always a bonus with homegrown cedar when it's as clear of knots as this one

Various styles and even more varied uses, but all made with naturally weather resistant, locally sourced and locally milled Larch and Douglas Fir

We mill only larch and Douglas fir into

Dimensional timber (3x2, 4x2, 6x2, 8x2 etc)
Posts. (3",4",6",8",10" and 12" square posts)
Beams (6x3, 9x3, 5x4, 8x4, 10x4, 12x4 etc)
Cladding
Fencing slats
Fencing rails (3.5"x1.5")
Sleepers (8"x4". 6ft long, 8 ft long, 12ft long and 16ft long)
We also mill custom sizes that customers can not find at off the shelf builders merchants

Not only do larch and Douglas timbers look good with their distinctive red colours accentuating the varied grain patterns but they are also exceptionally strong for load bearing structures
