🌳 Safety First in Barnstaple! 🌳

Our main climber, Josh, has been hard at work at a school in Barnstaple this week. Following a recent safety inspection, a previously pollarded willow tree was highlighted as requiring complete removal to ensure the grounds remain safe for everyone.

☀️ What a scorcher of a day for a massive dismantle!🌲🥵

We tackled a seriously big job getting this heavily ivy-clad tree safely down to ground level.

The weather was incredibly warm, but the team pushed through to get it sorted from the full canopy right down to a completely clear site!
A massive shoutout and thank you to Byron Preedy from Preedy Trees for subbing in and helping us out on this one. Byron absolutely smashed the climbing in that heat, keeping the momentum going and working safely at height to bring it all down piece by piece. True professionalism and an absolute lifesaver! 🙌🪓

​They say no two days in tree surgery are ever the same, and last week was a perfect example. What started as a "quiet" morning catching up on paperwork and heading out for a few scheduled quotes quickly took a turn when the emergency line rang.

​We received an urgent call for a large tree that had failed, leaning precariously right over a client's roof. When a house is in the line of fire, the desk work has to wait. I dropped the pen, grabbed the kit, and headed out to join the team on the tools.
