We’re currently looking to connect with a mobile car valeter, or someone interested in running a small car wash / valeting setup on site at Ram Mill Business Centre in Oldham.

Ram Mill is home to 70+ companies, alongside conference rooms, a gym, dance studio, self-storage and an event hall. It’s a busy site throughout the week and on a typical day we see around 400–500 cars coming in and out, with staff, visitors and gym members using the facilities.

With a 250-space car park and a strong flow of vehicles already on site, we believe this could be a great opportunity for the right operator to build a regular customer base.

If you run a mobile valeting business/ Car wash Business, and you’re looking for a location where you could operate more permanently, we’d be happy to show you around the site and discuss how it could work.

It’s that time again 🎄✨

Our Christmas tree has been up at Ram Mill Business Centre for a few weeks now.

Every year it becomes a bit of a centrepiece in the building. we’ve tucked it right under our logo, with a tree full of deep reds, golds and warm lights.

If you’re in the building over the next few weeks, take a minute to stop and have a look — and if you’re visiting for the first time, yes… we do take our Christmas trees very seriously!

Built in 1907, Ram Mill was one of the final cotton spinning mills constructed in Oldham — part of a global textile powerhouse at the time. The design was ambitious, with Edwardian detailing, steel-frame structures and purpose-built engineering features that made it one of the most advanced mills of its day.

We had the honour of hosting a fundraising gala this week for the Manchester branch of Manyu elements cultural association— a non-profit dedicated to preserving and celebrating the rich cultural heritage of the Manyu people.

The Manyu people are an ethnic group from the Manyu Division in the Southwest Region of Cameroon. With an estimated population of over 300,000, they are made up of several tribes and villages, including the Banyang, Ejagham, and others. The region is known for its lush forests, strong clan structures, and deeply rooted customs passed down through oral traditions, music, dance, and festivals. Manyu culture places a strong focus on family, respect for elders, and communal living.

The event was held to raise funds for uniforms. The warm, earthy décor paired perfectly with MEC’s values: rooted in tradition, focused on community and full of heart.

These aren’t quirky vintage signs-They’re actual posters from the early days of the mill still stuck to the walls of our upper floors. They were pinned up for survival — loud reminders for workers in a cotton mill where accidents were common, and the job didn’t come with many second chances.

These posters are untouched, unrefined, and full of the energy of people who came here every day to graft. You can almost feel it: the pressure, the pride, the rhythm of shift work.

It’s quiet now. But it doesn’t feel empty.

You can still sense the pace of the work, the noise, the routine. Generations came through this building to earn a living — and whether we redevelop those floors or leave them be, that’s something we’ll always respect.

Our Celestial inspired Chandelier hangs from the original mill crane system which was once used to move machinery in this cotton mill.

𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝟏𝟗𝟎𝟕 𝐲𝐞𝐭?

Tucked away on the first floor of Ram Mill is a space full of charm, character and over a century of history. Heritage 1907 is housed within what was once part of the original mill production floor and still features the incredible cast-iron overhead crane — a striking industrial relic from its textile days. It was a working hub of machinery, where cotton was moved, stored, and sorted beneath the same arched windows that flood the room with light today.

We’ve carefully restored the exposed brickwork, original steel structures and blended them with luxury finishes, soft lighting and a polished parquet flooring. The result is a space that feels timeless — a perfect backdrop for weddings, receptions, corporate dinners, and private celebrations.

It’s one room, but no two events ever look the same.

We thought we’d share one of our most recent renovation projects here at Ram Mill 👇🏽

Once the former office of Hale Training Club, it’s now been completely transformed into Støckhølm by R***r — a beautifully executed hybrid salon on the ground floor of Ram Mill.

The name ‘Støckhølm’ was chosen by Alan as a nod to the roots of Scandinavian barbering culture — known for its precision, simplicity and craft. The salon’s clean lines, minimalist palette and calm atmosphere reflect that inspiration in every detail.

The transformation is a credit to Alan & Ella’s vision. Thoughtfully designed and Scandi-inspired, the space combines original red brickwork, black feature flooring, slimline LED lighting,
