Goodbye 2025 & Welcome 2026
As 2025 comes to an end, I look back on a year that truly tested me — a year filled with both struggle and blessings.
From a reselling perspective, 2025 was a tough year for my business. It wasn’t easy, but I never gave up. I continued reselling while also returning to full-time employment in December, something I hadn’t done since 2008. After a long time, stepping back into full-time work was a big change — but one I’m genuinely enjoying. The plan is to continue for a few months while I strengthen and improve my reselling business for 2026.
Going back into employment was a necessary step during challenging moments, but it’s also given me stability and focus. In 2026, my aim is to invest more time into my reselling business, introduce more automation, and fully embrace AI tools to improve productivity. I’ve got big plans for the year ahead.
One of the highlights of 2025 was attending many events, meeting people, and building meaningful connections through networking. But the most memorable moment came in December 2025, when I was honoured with the Mayoral Appreciation Award from Oldham Mayor Eddie Moores, in recognition of my long-standing and selfless service to the people of Oldham. A truly humbling and blessed way to end the year.
This year was also special as we celebrated the We Are The Community Excellence Awards 2025 alongside Amin B Chowdhury, and marked 17 years of Outta Skool at our 9th Annual Awards Celebration — moments I’ll always cherish with Moinul Islam , Murad Chowdhury , Zaky Potter , Shahida Begum , Scott Joseph.
As we close this chapter and step into 2026, let us remain humble, support those in need, remember people facing crisis and hardship, and continue to pray for the oppressed.
Happy New Year — here’s to growth, resilience, and new beginnings in 2026.
