A lovely week has been had!! 🤎🍂🍁🤎

This week little ones have been super busy enjoying all things autumn…

Monday, we started with a lovely walk through the woods, we searched for the gruffalo, we collected sticks and talked about what animals we would find in the woods 🥰 Not forgetting a stop by the park. We enjoyed lots of loose parts play, and little ones particularly enjoyed reading one of our new books ‘peekaboo pumpkin’ and little ones learnt what ghosts do 👻😂🥰👻👻
Rhyme time, story time delish foods and cuddles.

Tuesday, another morning starting with fresh air in our favourite little woods, followed by a morning spent at the library. 📚 Back to dels for delish lunch, a rest and an afternoon in our little playroom. 🧸🚂

Wednesday, we enjoyed the whole morning at our favourite stay and play. Exploring the different rooms, the sand area, messy play, dinosaurs for our little dinosaur lover 🦖 , and plenty of time spent in the outdoor area, on the bikes, water area, footballs and slide and more fresh air. 🚴⚽️🛝

Today we finished a fab week, being builders. Little ones had the construction planks out, building little houses, making walls and learning how to build and connect the planks together. We added loose parts, to see what would fit through the holes on the planks and little ones enjoyed filling the houses we built with the peg-men and pinecones 🥰
We also enjoyed rhyme time, story times lots more delish meals together and cuddles.

Autumn has arrived at Dels 🥰

Our favourite time of the year is here 🥹🙌🏼 with lots of fun planned 🎨, amazing learning opportunities 🐿️🦔, getting wrapped up and enjoying the crisp outdoors and exploring the changes of the season 🍂🍁🐿️🦔

Polite notice to parents… can you please keep little ones of the grass in the front garden as it can become a mud patch this time of the year otherwise 🙈
I will also continue to show little ones to use and stay on the garden path. Thankyou 🥰

Summer holidays 2026 over & out… 🥹☀️🥰
We have had an amazing summer holidays, so much fun and happy memories made at Dels house 🏡☀️🥰

Today we celebrated our last day before closing for summer and a very special, little ladies last day at Dels House 🥹🏡

Wow, the 3 years has flown by 🥹 in fact the last 6 years, as little ladies big brother also came to Del’s house before she was born. Working with this family has been an absolute pleasure and I’m so thankful that they chose me to care for both their babies, but little lady is well and truly ready for big school and she is going to absolutely thrive (I want first day uniform pics guys 🥹). A super emotional day and week doing all the ‘lasts’… 🥹❤️

Today little ones had so much fun celebrating in the garden with balloons, we had a lovely little picnic and a party with music lots of dancing, cakes, ice creams and ice pops. 🥰☀️🩷🏡🧺🎈🍦

Thankyou to my lovely families for spoiling me and Evie with birthday and end of summer holidays gifts, lucky to work along side the most wonderful families.

Time for some family time now though and a little rest 🤣😴.
I hope everyone has a wonderful last couple of weeks of the summer holidays, and I’ll see everyone back on Tuesday 1st September.

Our playroom can turn into a little sauna during a heatwave so when it goes about 24/25 degrees we make a few changes and little ones always love it…🥰

Our home from home in a heatwave… plenty of resources brought down from the playroom, calming music in the background, shaded area and fans in the living room, fresh water, mark making set up in the kitchen at the table, and free flow for the little ones throughout the day into the garden ☀️🥰☀️ plus plenty of space to rest when needed 🥵
We have book club planned and rhyme time for
later on this morning too 📚🎶

The summer holidays so far… 🥰☀️🛝🍦🍃🍪🧺🐦🌳🫧

We have been having such a lovely summer holidays… & been super busy hence me not keeping up with the posts on here 🙈🥰

There’s been plenty of park trips with bubbles 🥰🫧, our usual library trips 📚, we’ve had lunches at the cafe 🍴, picnics 🧺, we’ve had a trip to soft play 🛝, biscuit decorating 🍪, lots of ice creams and ice pops 🍦, so much fun and time spent in our happy places… our little garden 🌳🍃 and playroom 🎨 🥰☀️

We are always out and about and one of the things I hear the most apart from ‘oh you’ve got your hands full, are they all yours?’ 😂 is how well behaved our little ones are and how much fun they can see we have.
Of course they have their moments as they all do, but these 5 are growing into lovely little humans.
They listen, they care for each other, they share (most of the time 😂🙊), their funny & cheeky, and love to talk (over one another again most of the time 😂) they all love a cuddle, and we have some of the best days together. 🥰
I’m incredibly proud of them all.

We have 2 days left before we close for summer break and we plan on having more fun and plenty of ice creams in the heatwave that’s on the way 🥵☀️

Little ones have never been so quiet during this afternoons snack time 🥰

Summer holidays filled with treats, and fun! We’ve been none stop today and this was a lovely afternoon treat for little ones to enjoy alongside their friends 🥰

🔔 Parents we will not be attending the library tomorrow. 🔔

Due to the heat at our usual setting off time,
expected to be roughly 22 degrees and coming home time expected 25/26 degrees. 🥵

I do not want our 2 tiny ones sat in the pram in the heat for the journeys there and back, and also need to consider our other 2 little ones who both walk to and from library.

Instead we will do book club within the setting, beside our fans, keeping cool with plenty of shade and liquids.
