On Sunday I will be walking across Morecambe Bay to raise funds for Let's Make a Difference and this is what the money raised will be used for:

Support for a family of 4
£20 can provide a basic food shop covering essentials like pasta, rice, bread, tinned goods, vegetables and milk for a family in need.
£20 will provide a bundle of essentials such as soap, shampoo, toothpaste, razors, toilet rolls, cleaning supplies and washing powder.
£20 will provide warm items - thick socks, a cozy throw or blanket to help keep a family warm.

£50 - will supply a full week of essential groceries - protein like meat and cheese, staples such as rice and pasta, vegetables and fruit, bread, milk and cheese and some household cleaning essentials.

£60 will provide a counselling session for an hour. The waiting list for these sessions is around 18 months to 2 years via the NHS and so this really can help people who are struggling with their mental health/concerns.

£150 helps us bridge the difference between Universal Credit and rental prices for a 2-bed property in Lancashire. This could be the difference between someone becoming homeless - or not !

All the funds raised will be put to good use and help support local people.
