Appeals & Enforcement If deemed feasible, steps can be taken to submit an application, and every element of this can be covered on your behalf, from application forms

through to drawings, and any supplementary information that may be requested. Making Representations to Council - Regular opportunities exist for notified neighbours to make comment on proposed development nearby. We can advise our clients on how best to communicate their concerns – or indeed support for – planning applications they have been notified of. Advice can also be given at the various stages of local area plans, and at other opportunities to make representations. Appeals of Planning Decisions - Appealing the decision of the planning authority is an option in certain instances. If you’re not happy with a decision, and the appeal route is practicable, then the decision may be appealed and will be determined by the Planning Appeals Committee. Submission of written statements and representation at planning appeals on your behalf.

Some sound advice folks 👍

Folks we have all heard that storm Eowyn is on it's way.

⏺Here are some tips from one of our home insurers.

Please take care everyone x

Protect a Property in a Storm

It's important that your client knows their property must be maintained properly.

📌They should pay particular attention to areas likely to bear the brunt of a storm, such as the roof and gutters.
📌Get rid of overhanging, loose or dead branches on the property to help prevent damage in windy weather and secure loose objects that are kept outdoors.
📌Close all gates, windows and doors (including internal doors) and stay indoors as much as possible during the storm.
📌Move bins ( and any garden furniture ) into a sheltered area to avoid damage, and weigh down if possible.

Protect a Property in a Flood-
📌If your client lives in an area prone to flooding, we recommend they purchase sandbags to place on doors, windows and any other gaps.
📌Move any electrical equipment and sentimental items upstairs to prevent damage.
📌Advise your clients to identify how to turn off their gas, water and electricity in case they need to leave their home during a flood.

Another extremely happy client today as we received their permission for a dwelling in Evish!

We worked with Council positively and constructively and negotiated the siting for this dwelling over a protracted period. The outcome was the right decision and a reasonable and fair evidence based approach was taken by Council at all times.
