Our biggest sale of the year at the Killadroy salesroom — 794 lots across two consecutive evenings, spanning Georgian silver, a Mid-Georgian bow-fronted chest, a moonphase grandfather clock, Victorian lighting, Edwardian display cabinets and everything in between.

The star lots to circle in the catalogue: a Ridgeway grandfather clock with moonphase dial (the last lot of Day 2 — bring your patience). A Mid-Georgian bow-fronted chest of drawers with its original brasses and geometric feature banding — two-and-a-half centuries old and still perfect. A Victorian oil lamp with a ruby glass bowl and its original "football" shade. An Edwardian display cabinet with boxwood inlay. A signed watercolour study of a long-eared owl. A full 13-piece Royal Doulton tea set.

Around them: a 19th-century grandfather clock, an Edwardian chiffonier, a boxwood-and-ebony inlaid writing bureau, silver-framed overmantel mirrors (two of them), a mahogany display cabinet, an Art Deco Gibson's china racing-car teapot, Mason's Ironstone lidded vases, Tyrone crystal, Georgian silver sugar nips (Dublin 1841), Mountfield ride-on lawnmower and a Qualcast petrol mower for the garden, plus tools including a torque wrench and a full house of pine bedroom furniture.

Everything to be sold — many boxed lots without reserve. Two evenings, plenty of range, and everyone who's been in the market for antique clocks or Georgian furniture should be there.

On instructions from the personal representatives of Mr James Ross, we're selling the entire contents of Mote Cottage — 374 lots over a single Saturday morning, and this one has a serious clock collection at its heart.

The star lot is a superb longcase clock by John Irvine of Omagh, mahogany, circa 1830 — a rare local piece by a local maker, returning to a local room. Sitting with it: a single-weight and double-weight Vienna wall clock, both with Gustav Becker movements (early 20th C.); an Arsonia USA regulator wall clock; a 19th C. French Limoges mantel clock with porcelain panels; an Art Deco French marble mantel clock; a brass-mounted white marble 19th C. mantel; a French Edwardian eight-day inlaid mantel; a Victorian gilt spelter clock depicting a fisherman; and a Westminster chiming mantel from the mid 20th C.

The silver is Georgian: a large silver ladle (London 1818, 223 g), silver sauce ladles (London 1818 and 1829), a silver wig powder caster (London 1827), and silver teaspoons (Glasgow 1857). The ceramics run deep — a full Aynsley dinner service, Royal Doulton figurines, Staffordshire ware including a fine pair of Victorian Staffordshire dogs, and various tea sets.

The house furnishings fill in around all that: a complete late 19th C. nine-piece parlour suite; a Regency-style hall table; a Chubb fireproof safe; a comfortable lounge suite; pine bedroom furnishings; a Regency-style Edwardian bureau; traditional Niparse country chairs; a rocking chair; a barometer; three early 20th C. conical creamery churns (option to buy all three); pictures, paintings and prints including John Wright; a stamp collection with First Day Covers and Royal Mail mint issues; a lady's bicycle; wooden picnic tables; a gas barbecue.

🐴 SPECIAL INCLUSION — in aid of Drumquin Men's Shed: a beautifully restored tub-type horse trap. All proceeds to the Shed.

On instructions from the personal representatives of the late Joe & Anne Heagarty we're selling the entire contents of their Culmore home — 384 lots over a single Friday evening, and it's a proper mix from front to back.

The standouts are worth the drive. A half sovereign, 1908, mounted as a fob — a small piece of gold with a hundred-year story. A Victorian brass-based oil lamp — one of two Victorian oil lamps in the sale and easily the more photogenic. A late-Victorian silver-cased fob watch and chain, engraved, still ticking. An oak writing bureau, solid throughout, drop-front and drawers under. A mirror-backed oak corner cabinet with generous proportions. A collector's cabinet full of brass miniature timepieces — sold as one lot with its display case.

The rest of the house fills in around them: a granddaughter clock, a 3-2-1 suite, electric reclining armchairs, an oak dresser, coffee tables, corner cupboards (both pine and oak), Victorian double-helix brass candlesticks, Galway and Tyrone crystal, an Aynsley vase, a Bank of Ireland £1 note from the 1940s, a Victorian Jubilee-head silver crown from 1890, and a full house of bedroom furnishings.

Two evenings. Six hundred and six lots. One of the largest single sales we've handled this year a proper two-stage house clearance that's been gathering momentum for weeks.

The standouts will fight for your attention. A ruby glass oil lamp on a Corinthian brass pillar that looks better in person than any photograph. Three signed Italian oil paintings in oval gilt frames a small grand-tour group sold together. A French Empire mantel clock with Sèvres panels on a substantial base. A Victorian silver service hallmarked London 1855, weighing 1,450 grams. A set of ten oak balloon-back chairs with deep buttoned leather seats rare enough as eight, almost unheard of as ten. An early 19th C. oriental teapot in gilt decoration. A pair of Tyrone crystal mantel clocks. Royal Doulton, Mason's Ironstone, Tuscan and Donegal china. An Edwardian Perdonium ornately inlaid. A French Empire display cabinet. A bureau bookcase from the early 1900s.

And beneath all of that the extensive Tyrone crystal: wine glasses, brandy balloons, liqueur glasses, champagne flutes, sundae dishes, condiment sets much of it in original boxes.

A rare opportunity. The personal representatives of the late Robert and Elizabeth Pigott have instructed us to sell the entire contents of their long-loved family home at 11 Pinewood Avenue — and the house has not given up its treasures lightly.

The evening opens with a 19th-century duet music stand and an Italian inlaid display cabinet that would headline most sales on its own. From there it gets better: a triple-weight grandfather clock by Black of Omagh, a collection of Corinthian pillared oil lamps with their original cut-glass shades, a Tyrone crystal table lamp, an Edwardian barometer, and a cheval mirror gilded to within an inch of its life.

The ceramics shelf alone is worth the trip — Royal Albert "Moonlight Rose" and "Satin Rose" tea services, Royal Doulton, Mason's Ironstone in three patterns, Donegal and Elizabethan fine bone china, and an Irish silver teapot hallmarked Dublin 1815.
